HUB Parking Technology is pleased to announce the appointment of John Lovell as the new Managing Director & CEO of HUB Parking Technology USA, Inc. and Hub Parking Technology Canada Ltd./Ltée which constitute the HUB North American region, effective on January 1st , 2015. In the meantime, Robert Kempton, the current CEO of HUB USA, will hold his position until December 31st and will then become the General Manager of the HUB Latin American region.
John has 38 years of industry experience as a CEO, Sales Director and Director of Product Management. Before becoming HUB North America’s General Manager, John held a number of senior management positions, most recently as CEO of ZEAG North America and then of ZEAG Canada Ltd. (which has been part of HUB Parking Technology since 2011) bringing a significant growth of the company. Throughout his career John received several awards: he was recently awarded the Ted Seeberg Award for an Outstanding Contribution to the Canadian parking industry. All regional finance, sales, service and product management functions will report to HUB North America’s General Manager John Lovell.
The Latin American region will be led by Robert Kempton, the previous CEO of HUB USA. Robert has 32 years of experience, joined the FAAC Group in 2007 and has held a wide range of leadership positions in the company. He has served as president of FAAC USA and as Sales Director in several technology and automation industries. During his tenure as HUB USA’s CEO, the business went through a significant transformation to become one of the leaders in the parking industry in the US.
