To meet the growing demand for efficient traffic flow and digital services, Romexpo partnered with Fastpark, HUB’s exclusive partner in Romania, to modernise its parking operations. Fastpark delivered a hybrid user-friendly solution, designed to simplify access for all visitors, from daily commuters working at the fair and nearby to event attendees.
The new system integrates ticketed and ticketless access, powered by License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology. It allows multiple payment options – including contactless, mobile, and pay-by-plate – giving users the freedom to choose how they park and pay. A key enhancement is the ability to purchase both the parking ticket and the exhibition entry pass at the same payment station, simplifying the overall ticketing process and ensuring a seamless, unified experience for guests and operators alike.
Thanks to real-time management tools, operators can now monitor performance, manage user flows, and reduce manual tasks, ensuring a smoother and more secure parking experience for everyone.
With its 1,500 parking spaces, Romexpo’s facility serves as a vital mobility hub during large-scale events and daily city traffic, helping to reduce congestion and vehicle idling in the surrounding area.
