Royal Albert Dock Liverpool is the most-visited free tourist destination in North West England, home to museums, galleries, restaurants, bars and shops.
With crowds reaching the site with their vehicle, the deployment of an efficient car park management was a must. The facility management turned to HUB UK to identify a modern access control solution catering to various user groups, and flexible enough to withstand peak periods in a flawless way: a Jupiter system.
"Just" peripherals and barriers? No, much more!
HUB UK deployed the best in smart parking technology through a hybrid system, that allows multiple ways of entering and exiting the site, and different processes to pay. Visitors have the choice to obtain a ticket and make payment using a card at the automated pay station. Alternatively, they can enjoy a fully ticketless access enabled by the LPR (License Plate Recognition) system and settle the payment at the exit station - yes, directly in lane! How convenient is that?
Of course, the car park is equipped with electric charging stations to accommodate electric vehicles, whose presence is increasingly common in cities and towns.
By implementing the new automated parking technology, the car park has undergone a significant revitalization, aligning with modern standards of efficiency and aesthetics: a shiny example of how innovative solutions can transform traditional processes and contribute to the success of iconic destinations like Albert Dock.
Sean Morrison, Estate Manager Royal Albert Dock Liverpool declares:“ Providing exceptional service to our customers is a high priority. With the seamless implementation of the new parking system, our users now relish a user-friendly, hassle-free parking experience, reflecting our commitment to excellence.”
